Queensland Stories

Cooktown Library were successful applicants for the Queensland Stories project grant for their Black Image web site project.

Queensland Stories is a multi-faceted program based on building connections between libraries and their local and State wide communities. The program should help to build the creative and cultural value of libraries in developing local identity and a sense of place. Queensland Stories encourages libraries to build strategic partnerships and work collaboratively with other local agencies to deliver tangible social and cultural outcomes.

To make all this possible Black Image were supported by the following organisations:

State Library of Queensland

Kathleen Denigan Kathleen Denigan, from the State Library of Queensland facilitated the involvement of other partners in the project including Balkanu, UNSW and CYDN.
