Durbbil Dikarrba
Since starting out in 1997,
Black Image had been building up a compilation of songs which they
put together and recorded in 2002.
Durrbil means red soil in Guugu Yimithirr from their mother's
side, and Dikarrba refers to the Thompson Creek area of Wujal Wujal
in the Kuku Yalangi language from their father's side.
Described as a CD "full of happy songs that people can dance to",
Durrbil Dikkarba was met with strong anticipation by Black Image
fans.
