Bruce Harrigan
Bruce is the eldest of the Harrigan boys. Though he doesn't play with the band, he
is an important part of the Black Image support system. In the early days, Bruce dabbled in playing
the bass. These days he sings along with everyone, catches his brothers' gigs around the area
and can be spotted regularly on the dancefloor.
His brothers dub him, "Our bouncer, our bodyguard." The biggest out of the boys
in stature, they also call him their "big support". Indeed he says, "I look out
for them," when asked about seeing his brothers playing in the band.
His mother Rosie says of him, "He supports the boys. He cares for his younger brothers. He
doesn't like when they have a disagreement. He cares for his father and mother and I've
never seen him raise his voice at his parents or brothers. He's a good kid. He's a
"cool guy".
Bruce lives in Wujal Wujal with his wife and three kids and works on building roads. His brother
Dylan, describes him as "a jack of all trades – carpentry, vehicles, a good
fisherman and good hunter".
